Every time I open commissions, people only want one of three things;
1. themselves
2. their boyfriend/girlfriend
3. their original character (like 80% of the time, it is this)
This ain’t always a bad thing. People are cute, couples are cute, and I’ve drawn many OC’s who were interesting and fun. (Lex and Bailey all the way.) But come on! Just once! Can’t anybody think of anything else they want?

I would never know what to ask for. Maybe I’d give a list of “prompts” (likes/dislikes) and ask the artist to HAVE AT IT. =) It would make it surprising for me and more fun for you, ideally. hehe

The only stuff I’ve ever asked for has been fandom themed and only fandoms that I share with the person doing the art. I figure at least that way there’s plenty of references out there and I like seeing different takes on characters.
